Q: Who can join Big Dogg Cricket clinics and coaching programs?
A: Our programs are designed for juniors through to seniors of all skill levels. Whether you’re a beginner wanting to learn the basic techniques, or a more advanced player looking for specialised coaching, we have something for you..

Q: When and where do the clinics run?
A: We run school holiday clinics, pre-season and in-season coaching, and winter academies at various venues around Melbourne. Specific dates, times, and locations are posted on our website under “School Holiday Clinics” and “Coaching”

Q: What skills will be covered in the programs?
A: We focus on all aspects of cricket skills including batting, bowling, fielding, match-scenario play, game awareness, technique refinement, decision-making under pressure, and building confidence.

Q: How large are the groups, and what is the coach-to-player ratio?
A: We keep our group sizes manageable to ensure quality coaching and personalised feedback. Exact ratios may vary depending on age group and venue, but we aim for small groups so each player gets plenty of attention.

Q: What ages do you cater for?
A: Our clinics and coaching sessions are open to children from junior age.

School holiday clinics are 10-15 years old.

We do coach many teenagers and adults via 1-1, small groups & club coaching.

We also offer team or club-level coaching for senior players.

Q: What do I need to bring to a clinic or coaching session?
A: Players should bring their own cricket gear if they have it (bat, pads, helmet, etc.), comfortable sports clothing, trainers, water bottle, sunscreen, and a snack. We’ll supply coaching equipment and protective gear as needed.

Q: What is the cost, and are there payment options?
A: Pricing varies depending on the program, duration, and location. We provide full details of cost on each clinic/coaching program page. Payment can typically be made online. Please check individual program pages for any early-bird discounts or multi-session deals.

Q: What happens if a session is cancelled due to bad weather or other unforeseen circumstances?
A: If a session is cancelled (e.g. due to rain or unsafe conditions), we will notify registered participants as soon as possible. We will either reschedule the session or offer a suitable alternative.

Q: Can I get a refund if I can’t attend after registering?
A: We can reschedule or provide a refund. Please contact steve@bigdogg.com.au
